Christmas Loans

Santa Claus is coming to town!

The holidays are right around the corner, and 1st Mississippi Federal Credit Union is here to help make your season a little brighter!

We will begin accepting Christmas loan applications on

Monday, October 19

Applications can be submitted by email at Santasaysyes@1stms.com or in person at either of our Meridian or Quitman locations.

Processing and funding will begin November 2 through December 31st, in the order completed applications are received.

Term:

12 months

Qualifications

At least one year of membership.
At least one year of verified employment or receipt of government funds.
A positive checking account balance. An overdrawn balance may be cleared with loan proceeds, but the member will lose overdraft privileges.
Direct deposit is required. Members may establish direct deposit, but we must wait until the deposit is received before proceeding.

Current on all loans.
No more than two unsecured loans. Any existing Christmas loan must be paid off (can be paid with loan proceeds).
No unpaid charge-offs with us.
Not currently in bankruptcy or subject to garnishment.
